Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Performance Features Women Composers (Worcester, MA – March 30, 2004) The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Worcester State College will present “Music by Women Composers” by The Copley Chamber Players, comprised of Peter H. Bloom on flute, Brian Clague on violin and viola, Sandy Kiefer on cello and Mary Jane Rupert on piano. The Copley Chamber Players will perform works by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Gue´rre, Elizabeth Vercoe, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Rebecca Clarke and Louise Pauline Marie Heritte-Viardot. The performance will take place at 8 p.m., Monday, April 12 in the Administration Theatre, Administration Building, Worcester State College, 486 Chandler Street, Worcester. The concert is made possible by a Professional Development Grant from Worcester State College. Admission is free and the performance is open to the public.
