IN THEIR OWN WORDS: VETERANS SPEAK (Worcester, MA – November 5, 2004) On the occasion of the 2004 Veterans’ Day and in honor of the country’s veterans, the Center for the Study of Human Rights at Worcester State College will provide a panel discussion: “In Their Own Words: Veterans Speak,” in which local veterans will speak about their experiences, 10 a.m., Tues../Press releases.htmday, November 9, 2004 in the Blue Lounge, Student Center. The panel will feature: Matthew Holmes, WSC Undergraduate and recent Veteran Kenneth Cote, WSC Undergraduate and recent Veteran, including service in Bosnia as a Peacekeeper Daniel Holmes, Framingham State College Undergraduate and recent Veteran Eric Wasileski, Veteran and President of the Wally Nelson Chapter of Veterans for Peace Kevin Lucey, Father of Marine Lance Corporal the late Jeff Lucey, who is featured in Patricia Foulkrod’s documentary “The Ground Truth: The Human Cost of War” Jerry Lembcke, Vietnam Veteran and author of The Spitting Image: The Myth of the Spat Upon Vet.
