THE GIFT OF SONG ON VALENTINE’S DAY

Tired of chocolates and flowers? The Worcester State College Chorale has come up with a unique gift idea for those who want to surprise their loved one with something different for Valentine’s Day – a “Singing Valentine.”

For a small fee, the WSC Chorale a cappella singing group will serenade your friends and loved ones (within the Worcester area) between February 8th, 9th & 10th. The Chorale will visit local homes and businesses delivering two love songs and a complimentary carnation and card to your "valentine." This is the WSC Chorale’s tenth year of providing this special offer and every year it continues to grown in popularity.

Each year, the Chorale performs for international audiences and has visited Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, and most recently, Greece. In order to make these trips possible, the Chorale must raise funds to cover the trip expenses. Their next international trip will be in spring of 2009. Through fundraisers such as the “Singing Valentine,” these opportunities become reality.

The price for an on campus Valentine is $35.00 and off campus (Worcester and surrounding towns ) is $40.00.
