Komen On the Go™ Tour
Brings Life-Saving
Breast Health Information to WSC Students

On
Tuesday, April 15, Worcester State College will host Susan G. Komen for
the Cure®’s community education and outreach tour at the Student Center.
Komen on the Go™ is a traveling tour, crossing the nation to deliver
life-saving breast health information to all generations of women. The
tour stop Worcester State College is one of more than 150 stops Komen On
the Go is making across the country to heighten awareness of breast
health and breast cancer and drive a deeper commitment from young women
to commit to everyday health habits to reduce their risk for the
disease.
WHAT:
The Komen On the Go™ pink semi-trailer converts into an
interactive learning center. This fun, hands-on experience features
computer kiosks chock full of easy-to-understand breast health

“graffiti wall” for participants to share a memory or pledge their
personal support in the global breast cancer movement. Other perks may
include information on how to volunteer locally, details on the Komen
Race for the Cure and tips on supporting loved ones facing breast
cancer.
