IRAQI WOMAN SPEAKS FROM INSIDER'S PERSPECTIVE

(Worcester, MA – March 31, 2004)  Learn about current conditions in Iraq from an insider’s perspective. Rana Abdul-Aziz, a native of Iraq, will speak at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 5, in the Blue Lounge, Student Center at Worcester State College. 

Abdul-Aziz recently graduated from Tufts University and resides in the Boston area with her immediate family.  She recently has traveled extensively in Iraq, writing newspaper articles about what she has seen.  She will discuss the day-to-day lives of Iraqis today and her thoughts on what the future of Iraq “on the ground” – average people’s lives – will likely be in the short- and long-range future. ../Press releases.htm
