WORCESTER STATE FOUNDATION
ELECTS OFFICERS, NEW MEMBERS
(Worcester, MA – July 3, 2003) The Worcester State Foundation Board elected
officers and welcomed new members at its June 24, 2003 annual meeting.
New members to the distinguished board are: Jill C. Dagilis, commissioner of
Code Enforcement for the City of Worcester; George L. Leasca, vice president
of Investments of Solomon Smith Barney; Peter M. Mantegazza, president and
CEO of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital; and Dr. James P. McSherry, a
psychologist of Performance Psychology and a visiting scholar at Boston
College.
Officers elected to the Board of Directors are Lee J. Beaudoin, former Chief
Administrative Officer of Fallon Clinic and currently a health care
consultant, as president; Ronald C. Chand of Chand Associates as vice
president; James M. O’Coin of O’Coin’s Home Brands as treasurer; Kathleen M.
Eichelroth, CFO of Worcester State College as assistant treasurer; and
Thomas M. McNamara, executive director of Development and External Relations,
as clerk.
The Worcester State Foundation, established in 1993, serves to advance and
support the mission and programs of Worcester State College. The Foundation
develops resources, financial and otherwise, necessary to Worcester State
College’s continuing growth as an academic institution serving Central
Massachusetts and the Commonwealth, insuring access and quality to all those
who seek higher education.
