BLACKSTONE VALLEY CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE, EDUCATION FOUNDATION
AND WORCESTER STATE COLLEGE ANNOUNCE
SECOND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
(Whitinsville, Mass.) As a result of
the significant interest shown in the first Blackstone Valley offering
of the Worcester State Entrepreneurship Certificate Program, a second
session will be offered beginning the evening of May 5th.
This session will cater to those who are in
need of evening hours.
“We were just so overwhelmed with requests
by students who wanted to attend,” stated Susan Gately, Executive
Director of the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation, “that it was
inevitable we add a second session.”
This program is open to the public and
offers local residents the opportunity to enroll in a quality College
Level Certificate program developed especially for entrepreneurs
starting or running a small business. In these changing times, many are
looking for a career change or are struggling with the challenges of
growing their existing business. Thanks to a supporting grant from the
Mass Office of Small Business & Entrepreneurship, the Certification
Program is offered to residents of the Blackstone Valley at a very
affordable rate and offers 6 sessions, a total of 21 Hours of lecture,
discussion, and practice. It is designed specifically to provide
individual entrepreneurs the key fundamentals needed to assure success
“The Chamber was thrilled to receive this
important grant which allowed us to bring a truly enriching program for
the benefit small business owners to the Valley itself,” said Joe Deliso,
former interim Director of the Chamber who led the effort to bring this
program to the Valley. “Having the quality oversight of Worcester State
College is of great benefit to all who participate,” he continued.
This second session is scheduled on Mondays
and Wednesday from 6-9 PM beginning Monday, May 5th. A Certificate of
Entrepreneurship from Worcester State College will be awarded to those
completing the course
