U.S. - Use as an adjective. Use United States as a noun.

website – one word, capitalize only when used in World Wide Web.

weights - Use figures: The baby weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces. She had a 9-pound, 7-ounce boy.

who/whom; that/which - use who and whom for references to human beings and to animals with names. Use that and which for inanimate objects and animals without names. Use who when someone is the subject of a sentence, clause or phrase. (The man who rented the room left the window open. Who is there?) Use whom when someone is the object of a verb or preposition. (The woman to whom the room was rented left the window open. Whom do you wish to see?)

Worcester State College – never use Worcester State. Use the acronym only after first spelling out the entire name: Worcester State College (WSC).

Worcester State College Auditorium -- to be used when identifying the auditorium to an external audience; see also Sullivan Auditorium.

World Wide Web -- Always capitalize. Worcester State College’s website is at www.worcester.edu
