Worcester State College Campus News Item Released 2/4/04 Strategic Plan for FY 2004-2009 released President Janelle Ashley released today (the FY 2004-2009 College Strategic Priorities as approved by the Board of Trustees at their November 2003 meeting. Both the All College Committee and Board of Trustees worked to fine tune the document and recommended positive changes that were incorporated in the final version of the plan. In terms of content and substance, however, this approved Strategic Plan remains substantially the same as was developed by the campus-wide, comprehensive planning process. | Specific implementation action plans related to each of the priorities are being developed within the four divisions of the College. These implementation plans will specify concrete action steps, persons responsible, and interim targets for each strategic goal. The implementation plans will also serve as a means to evaluate the outcomes of efforts and to report annually to the Board of Trustees and the College community about progress. The College community is encouraged to provide suggestions for implementation strategies to the division head. |
