Item Released 3/15/2006 College Requires Survey on Student Driving Patterns Pre-registration will be on hold until survey completed WSC is required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to have its students complete a 5-minute survey on their commuting patterns. The on-line survey will be available April 1-24 for the target week of March 26 through April 1, 2006. In order to ensure an adequate response, students will be required to take the survey before they can access the student registration system. Holds have been placed on all student registrations. Students are encouraged to take the survey during April 1-10, prior to registration, since it may cause a delay of up to 24 hours before being able to access registration. Students must complete the survey using their WSC email account credentials in order for the registration HOLD to be removed. If they use any other email account, the hold will prevent them from registering. The College wants all students to be prepared for this, and because of the inconvenience, upon completion of the survey, their names will be entered into a raffle to win one of three great prizes: a brand new 3gb iPod, a $400 gift certificate at the College Bookstore, or a free parking decal for 2006-2007. ###
