Holiday Pops Concert with Consortium Choir

The Mass Symphony Orchestra will present a Holiday Pops Concert at Mechanics Hall on Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Worcester State College professor Christie Nigro, will direct the choir comprised of students from Worcester State College, the College of the Holy Cross, Clark University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The choir will perform classic symphonic works; selections from Broadway musicals; and favorite music of the holiday season, conducted by Alton Baggett.

Professor Nigro will talk about the concert on "Worcester: Academically Speaking," a weekly radio program educating the larger central Massachusetts community about the "intellectual capital" of the region’s colleges, on WTAG-AM 580 on Nov. 27 at 7:30 a.m.
