Citywide Poetry Harvest Festival Opens at WSC

In conjunction with the Worcester County Poetry Association, Worcester State College will kick off the citywide Poetry Harvest Festival --celebrating the 100th birthday of native son Stanley Kunitz -- with poet Mark Doty, the only American poet to have won Great Britain's T. S. Eliot Prize.

Mark Doty will be reading at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, September 28, in the Multimedia Auditorium of the Ghosh Science and Technology Center.  Readings by nationally and internationally known poets and writers will be featured at all the city’s colleges throughout the fall. These readings are free and open to the public.
