CONVENIENT ONECARD PROGRAM COMES TO WSC

OneCard will become the official Worcester State College identification card for all students, faculty and staff beginning with the 2005 fall semester.

This convenient and flexible, multi-purpose card will serve as an ID, building access key and debit card. Using OneCard, purchases can be made at the Bookstore, dining facilities, vending machines, public copiers and the Info Desk in the Student Center. Even parking or library fines can be paid with OneCard.

The primary method to add funds to the OneCard account will be through the online service using a credit card (Mastercard or Visa). But funds can also be added at the two Card Management Center (CMC) machines (located near the ATM in the Student Center and in the Information Technologies Center, LRC) or at the OneCard Office (using cash, check, or credit card).

The 24/7 online service allows users to check an account balance, review transactions, freeze a lost card, as well as add funds.

By the fall semester, all members of the campus community will have their OneCard as it will replace their old IDs. Everyone will be required to provide a photo ID (such as a driver's license) and sign a contract of terms and conditions.

More information will be made available as the OneCard Program is implemented.
