Item Released 3/14/08 CELEBRATION OF SERVICE ACROSS THE AGES The Worcester State College (WSC) Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement and the Intergenerational Urban Institute will host their annual "Celebration of Service Across the Ages." This event is a campus wide celebration of the service provided throughout the Worcester community by WSC students, faculty and staff. The keynote speaker will be State Senator Edward Augustus. The Deignan Award for Intergenerational Community Service will be presented to Assistant Director of the Central MA Housing Alliance Ann Gibbons-Smith, in recognition of her efforts working with Youth Against Homelessness (YAH). Members of YAH and students from the Education, Service & Government Academy at South High Community School will be special guests. Where: Worcester State College, Student Center - Blue Lounge When: Wednesday, April 16, 2008 Time: 2 - 4 p.m.
