FOURTH ANNUAL COWC ART EXHIBITION

The opening reception of the Fourth Annual Colleges of Worcester Consortium Art Exhibition is on Friday, February 15, 2007 from 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. in the ARTSWorcester Gallery. This event is free and open to the public, and music and refreshments will be provided.

The show is a juried group exhibition culled from emerging student artists within the Worcester Consortium and will include works in mixed media, photography, fiber, works on paper, sculpture, and painting. This exhibition, which began in 2005, highlights the wealth of artistic talent that exists within the local higher education community.

Works for the show will be chosen by a group of jurors and cash prizes will be awarded. The exhibition curator is Catherine Wilcox-Titus, assistant professor of visual and performing arts at Worcester State College.  Cash prizes will be awarded! The exhibition will be on display in the ARTSWorcester Gallery from February 15 – March 14, 2008.

The ARTSWorcester Aurora Gallery (660 Main Street) is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended hours are available by appointment. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.
