THIRD ANNUAL COWC ART EXHIBITION

The opening reception of the Third Annual Colleges of Worcester Consortium Art Exhibition is on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. in the ARTSWorcester Gallery at the Aurora Hotel, 660 Main Street, Worcester, MA. This event is free and open to the public, and music and refreshments will be provided.

The show is a juried group exhibition culled from emerging student artists within the Worcester Consortium and will include works in mixed media, photography, fiber, sculpture, and painting. This exhibition, which began in 2005, highlights the wealth of artistic talent that exists within the local higher education community.

Works for the show will be chosen by jurors including Susan Stoops of the Worcester Art Museum. Cash prizes will be awarded! The exhibition will be on display in the ARTSWorcester Gallery from February 9 – March 10, 2007.

Gallery hours: Tuesdays and Saturdays: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(Extended hours are available by appointment. Gallery is closed Sunday and Monday. Free and open to the public.)
