| Alpha Mu Gamma Alpha Mu Gamma is a national honor society that recognizes
excellence in the study of world languages. Students who receive two
"A's" in courses in either Spanish or French at Worcester State College
and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA are eligible to join.
Students interested in joining Alpha Mu Gamma can submit their
materials to Dr. Judith Jeon-Chapman in February. Students should
submit advising transcripts with the "A's" received in Spanish and/or
French courses and their cumulative GPA highlighted. Be sure to
include your current telephone number, address, and any other pertinent
contact information with your transcript.
Each year an induction ceremony for new Alpha Mu Gamma members is
held during the honors reception in the Department of Languages and
Literatures. Students receive a certificate and a membership card as
part of their lifetime membership in the honor society. A one-time
membership fee of $25 is required upon acceptance into Alpha Mu Gamma.
