The WSC wireless network is an IEEE 802.11b network. When purchasing a wireless card, make sure it is 802.11b compliant (most cards state this on the box).

While all wireless cards that are 802.11b compliant should work with the WSC wireless network, the Information Technologies department has successfully tested cards from the following companies:

• Orinoco
• U.S. Robotics
• Cisco Systems
• Linksys
