History & Instructors
Homestay
Housing is available through our Homestay Program. Students live with an American family and have the benefit of more time to practice their speaking and listening skills. Accommodations vary as do the costs. Many are within walking or cycling distance from the College. Interested students should contact the IELI Office. There is a $75.00 placement fee. Homes range from $650-$1,000 monthly including food, integration into home life, and use of home facilities.
Health Insurance
It is important to us that your health needs are met while you are in the United States. When you come to the program you must show proof that you have health insurance. To make sure you have adequate coverage your health insurance company has to have a branch in the United States. You must provide proof of health insurance before you can begin classes.
The IELI department is glad to provide names of Insurance Companies.
