Benefits of Working with the Center for Business and Industry at Worcester State College

Performance Improvement
All training programs delivered by the Center for Business and Industry provide skill practice in current job responsibilities and issues. Lecture and discussion of theory are limited to information directly related to skill acquisition. All workshops are created to include exercises, job aids, and tools that improve job skills immediately.

Focused Training
A wide variety of training programs are available to develop or improve the skills of analysts, supervisors, managers, project managers, web designers, healthcare professionals, bookkeepers, nurses, programmers, and other individual contributors. When a conventionally facilitated training program does not meet your needs, the Center will customize existing programs, or we will create an entirely new training program designed specifically for your organization.

Flexible Training and Scheduling
You can enroll in any workshop or complete certificate program. Most face-to-face workshops run full days, 8:30-4:30. If you would like to schedule a training program to your site, we can adapt to your schedule. Our Project Management training programs are scheduled for days and evenings.

Credit for Previous Training
You can apply certain equivalent training you have taken in the past three years if it fulfills the objectives of our courses. contact the Director of the Center for Business and Industry at 508-929-8126 or dnicholes@worcester.edu for further information.

Excellent Training Team
The Center for Business and industry's trainers and consultants possess extensive training experience in a variety of companies, industries and the public sector. You can count on them to design, develop, and deliver top quality training.

Competitive Cost

Training programs delivered by Worcester State College Facilitators are among the best anywhere, and cost significantly less than those of competing programs. Onsite training can cost less than public workshops.
