Module 4: Leading the Learning Event

Overview

Enhancing a trainer's classroom techniques for both presenting and
facilitating is extremely important to ensure effective, lively,
interactive and high-quality delivery of your training programs.  The
focus of this module will be on effective preparation techniques and on
delivery skills and techniques, including eye contact, body gestures,
body movements, stance, vocal quality, projection and much more.

Participants will lead a training segment of their choice, which they
began developing during Days 1 & 2 and will present and facilitate while
being videotaped.

A supportive, constructive feedback process will follow each
presentation, aimed at identifying strengths as well as developmental
opportunities to further enhance your platform skills back on the job.
An exciting, enjoyable, productive session for all!

What You Will Learn

  1. The full complement of presentation skills every training professional needs, along with you will have the opportunity to practice these skills in class;

  2. How to more effectively give and receive constructive feedback, particularly with regard to presentation style, content and process;

  3. To develop the insights needed to effectively assess yourself and your style, as a result of observing varying presentation styles and methods.
