Presentation
& Facilitation Skills
Overview
Learning events are dynamic
and challenging processes. The trainer's
job is to maximize the participants' opportunity to learn what may be
necessary for improved performance and maximum results. To accomplish
this, the trainer must establish and maintain a close relationship with
the learning group, sometimes directing, sometimes facilitating, but
always insuring the best possible learning climate for all.
This learning module, which will build on Days 1 & 2, will address each
component involved in managing a learning event:

Starting the learning
session

Maintaining focus and
interest during the learning process

Closing the learning
session
Participants will enjoy the opportunity to:

Discuss and practice all
phases of the training process

Identify and practice the
multiple functions/roles of the trainer,

Practice start up and
intervention skills

model for adult learning
