Risk is inherent in the
project management process. As such, it is important to understand the
nature of risk, the sources of risk, how to evaluate it, and most
importantly, how to manage it. Where do we start? What is Qualitative
Risk? What is Quantitative Risk? How do we respond when a risk event
materializes? The answers to these and many other questions must be
answered correctly to manage risk.
In this workshop,
participants will identify, describe, qualify, quantify and mitigate
risk. They will collaborate with each other to create their own risk
management plan that they can apply at work. They will explore how to
make decisions under uncertainty, and experience managing risk in an
exciting simulation game.
