Entrepreneurial Business Planning (16 hours)

Participants will learn the processes required to research a business idea and to formulate a plan to start and operate an enterprise. They will learn who needs a business plan, what a business plan is and what it should accomplish for an entrepreneur the different types of plans, the essential elements of a successful business plan,  The outcome of the course is a plan that the participant can utilize to pursue financing and guide the startup.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • learn the research process for developing business plans

  • identify the critical elements of a successful business plan.

  • select a business plan format based on the participant’s type of business and approach.

  • identify and avoid the most common mistakes of a business plan.

  • create a viable business plan for a specific practice or organization.

  • participate in a mock business plan presentation.
