Daniel W. Pelley, BSBA, MBA, is the Managing Director of Dan Pelley Educational Services, a management development firm, and a director of Teambuilders, a company dedicated to implementing Participative Management and other Total Quality Management concepts in both for-profit and non-profit environments. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at Bryant College and developed Bryant's evening certificate program in supervisory management. He is recognized as one of the leading presenters in his field.

During the past twelve years, Dan has sharpened the skills of over 5,000 managers and line workers in industries including manufacturing, service, medical, wholesale, retail, high technology, domestic and international. Most recently, Dan has been working with line workers and management at all levels to apply team building and participative management concepts in a practical and effective way. His clients include Texas Instruments, BIC Corporation, Intel, Northeast Public Power Association, Diocesan Health Care Facilities, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Textron.

Prior to forming his own company in 1990, Dan was Vice President of Klitzner Industries, a jewelry manufacturing company. His responsibilities included cost accounting, data processing, jewelry design, advertising, customer service, quality control and special projects. Prior to joining Klitzner, Dan was Vice President of ASA Incorporated where he provided consulting services to companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Purity Supreme Supermarkets, Commodore Foods, and American Flexible Conduit Company.

Dan brings a unique perspective to the fields of employee and staff development. He has over 10 years experience as a line manager, and another 10 years in management consulting combined with 14 years experience in providing management development training programs. He has been a line worker in a machine shop and served on the Board of Directors of the publicly held ASA Incorporated for more than seven years. He spent two years in the U.S. Army enlisted ranks, and later obtained an MBA degree "with honors" from Northeastern University. In short, Dan's background and experiences allow him to relate well to all levels of an organization.

In addition to his primary affiliation with Bryant College, Dan is a member of the adjunct faculties at five other schools.
