Current Interests:  DNA Replication Origins; Evolutionary Relationships of Satellite DNAs.

Chair of the Pre-Medical & Pre-Dental Advisory Committee since its inception in 1973.

Coordinator of the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program since 1994.

Co-author of "A Proposal to Offer a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology", 1992.   The Biotechnology Program was instituted in 1994.    

Co-sponsor with Richard G. Hunt of the Workshop on Education for Sustainability held at WSC on March 27, 1997, presented by Second Nature.

Central Massachusetts Section of the American Chemical Society:Chairman-Elect (Program Chairman) 1982 and Chairman 1983-84.Co-coordinator of the ACS sponsored Conference on the Role of Chemistry in the Emerging Biotechnology Industry held March 30-31, 1984, at the Sheraton Inn, Boxborough, Massachusetts.
