As Coach Olson enters her 22nd season with the Lancers, she is the 24th winningest active coach in Division III.  Coach Olson has compiled a 314-239-2 overall record with the Lancers.  She has won three MASCAC championships, four ECAC tournament appearances and an NCAA tournament appearance. The Lancers captured the ECAC North title in 1990 under her reign.

She also coached at WPI for six seasons (53-41 record). Overall, Coach Olson enters her 25^th year of coaching with a cumulative record of 355-264-2 which ranks her 26th on the all-time Division III coaching list.

A graduate of Worcester State College, she was an outstanding athlete playing field hockey, basketball and softball. She was selected to the National Field Hockey team her senior year and was inducted into the Worcester State College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. Prior to competing for the Lancers, she was a stand-out athlete at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden. She is a member of her high school's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Coach Olson was a head field hockey coach at Clark University for eight seasons and an assistant basketball coach at WPI for 11 seasons. She has coached over 600 career softball games.
