In the opener, WestConn put six runs on the board in the bottom of the second

The Lancers got on the scoreboard when Veronica Clark (Worcester, MA)

She allowed two runs on four hits and struck out five.
Danielle Caron (Peabody, MA) dropped to 0-4 on the season after allowing

The teams each scored three runs in the third inning. The Lancers scored three
unearned runs off Colonials’ starter and winner Brittany Conners (Waterford,
CT). WestConn went back up by five, 9-4, after RBI doubles from

fourth inning.
