In game 2, the Lancers once again performed late inning heroics as they scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to overcome a, 3-1, deficit to complete the sweep of the twin bill.  MCLA posted a single run in the second inning when Deanna Trumble (Adams, MA) singled home Everett who tripled earlier in the inning.  In the top of the third inning, MLCA got a pair of unearned runs to hold a, 3-0, lead after three innings.  Worcester State got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by sophomore Veronica Clark (Worcester, MA).

In the bottom of the seventh Clark opened with a double and was driven home by freshman Katherine Kelley (Burlington, MA).  The Lancers then tied and won the game on a pair of unearned runs.

Michaud got her first win of the year for the Lancers.
