Worcester State College Men’s Track and Field Highlights

Elmer Swanson Invitational at Wesleyan University- 4/12/08

Worcester State Women’s Track and Field team had a strong showing at the Swanson Invite held at Wesleyan University. The team was lead by Sophomore Kara Antrim placing 1^st in the 3000 Steeple, and 3^rd in the 800 meters. Antrim set a new school record in the Steeple with a time of 13:41.35. Freshman Andrea Ouellette finished 1^st for the 3^rd time in 3 weeks in the Triple Jump with a jump 33’10”. Ouellette also finished 4^th in the 400 Hurdles. Freshman Angela Roux finished 5^th in the 400 meters, Liz Malone 2^nd in the discus, and 5^th in the shot put, Jillian Rollins 4^th in the Hammer Throw, Rachael Armenti 3^rd in the Javelin, and Christina Bisbee 6^th in the Javelin, Elena Casado 5^th in the triple jump. Senior Lindsay Shields finished 5^th in the 800 meters.
