Ryan Frassica Named MASCAC Player of the Week

Worcester, MA - Worcester State College senior Ryan Frassica (Brockton, MA) has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference’s men’s basketball Player of the Week for his performance last week.  Frassica, who was a second team All-MASCAC selection a year ago, earns the honor for the first time in his career.

Frassica averaged 19.5 points per game in a 1-1 week for the Lancers.  The sharpshooter paced the Lancers in their overtime win over Bridgewater State on Tuesday evening in Lancer Gymnasium scoring a game-high 28 points including 6 three pointers.

For the season, Frassica leads the Lancers in scoring with a 17.7 points per game average.

Frassica and the Lancers will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Westfield State to take on the Owls in a key Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference matchup.
