Lancers Women's Lax Bursts Past Owls, 19-4

WESTFIELD – Senior center Ann Clark (Worcester/St. Peter Marian) scored eight goals to power Worcester State to a 19-4 victory over Westfield State in women’s lacrosse action April 19.

Worcester State improved its record to 8-3. Westfield State falls to  2-3.

Clark scored three first-half goals to stake the Lancers to a 6-2 halftime lead.

The Lancers scored nine straight goals in the second half to take a commanding 15-2 lead with 12:09 remaining.

Sophomore midfielder Shannon Feeley (West Springfield) had four goals and two assists for Worcester State, while teammate Megan Rosborough (Uxbridge) added two goals and four assists.

Freshman Ally Brown (Andover) and junior Kasey Rogers (West Springfield) both had a goal and an assist for Westfield.
