Weekly Tours
Weekly Tours
Weekly tours of campus are offered on
Monday through Friday. These tours
are a great way to catch the campus in action during the
week. Student tour guides will lead you through the
buildings and show off our high-tech classrooms and campus
facilities.
First fall semester tour: Monday, September 10, 2007
Last fall semester tour: Friday, December 7, 2007
Times: Monday - Friday at 2:30 PM; Wednesdays and Fridays at
11:30 AM
You can schedule your tour by calling the Admission Office
at 508-929-8040 or toll-free at 1-866-WSC-CALL. You
can also e-mail us at
admissions@worcester.edu to reserve a spot for a tour
(include your name, contact information and the number of
people in your party).
Please keep in mind that specific tour dates may be filled
and unavailable, if you put a request through E-mail you
will be notified of this.

Directions
to our Campus
Worcester State College is located in Worcester, Massachusetts,
a thriving city of more than 172,000 residents. Worcester
is located approximately 50 miles west of Boston. The campus
is easily accessible by many modes of transportation.
By Car
From I-90 (Massachusetts
Turnpike)
Take exit 10 (Auburn) to I-290 Eastbound. (See From
I-290 Eastbound directions below).
From I-495
Take exit 25 to I- 290 Westbound. (See From I-290 Westbound
directions below).
From State Highway
9 Westbound
Follow state highway 9 Westbound into Worcester. (See From
Highland Street directions below).
From State Highway
146 Northbound
Take State Highway 146 Northbound to I- 290 Eastbound. (See
From I-290 Eastbound directions below).
From I-190 Southbound
Take I-290 Westbound. (See From I-290 Westbound directions
below).
From I- 290 Westbound
Take exit 18 (State Highway. 9 Westbound); turn right off
exit ramp and stay in center lane, following directions
for State Highway 9 Westbound. Turn right onto State Highway
9 Westbound, also known as Highland Street. (see from Highland
Street direction below).
From I- 290 Eastbound
Take exit 17 (State Highway. 9). Turn left onto State Highway
9 Westbound, which changes names to Highland Street at bottom
of the hill. Proceed up the hill onto Highland Street. (see
from Highland Street direction below)
From Highland
Street
While on Highland Street, stay in the right-hand lane. Stay
on Highland Street for 1.5 miles (you will pass Elm Park
and Doherty High School on the left). At the rotary, take
the third spoke onto June Street. At the second light, turn
right onto May Street. The main entrance to the College
will be three blocks ahead on your left.
